    Today, we have commissioned a new server room POP3. The room is designed to hold 35 racks with 48U height. Each of the racks can be powered through 2 independent feeds backed up via UPS and a diesel generator. Internet connection is supplied via CISCO 6509-VSS 1440 networking unit through either metallic or fiber optic link. If desired, a direct fiber optic link to the SIX or SITEL nodes can be established.

Virtual servers

Virtual server is a technology which enables a very effective physical server system resources utilization by having one physical server run several standalone virtual servers - each with allocated system resources according to client specifications and safely separated from other virtual servers. From clients perspective, such server is a full server platform, offering a more cost-effective server acquisition and operation. Our solution offers two modes of server operation:

- in "High availability" mode; primary host has its backup and in case of primary host failure, the secondary host will run your systems. Server downtime is in duration of boot your system on backup server.
- in "Fault Tolerance" mode; virtual server is running on two physical hosts and in case of problem on one of hosts, other host will start providing service and this is done without any downtime.

If you prefer an even safer solution, we offer you to run virtual servers in geo cluster, on replicated storage and boosted IOPS performance using high speed cache servers.

For a problem-free server operation, we utilize the DELL Blade servers, Fujitsu disk arrays and VMware virtualization technology. Host servers and disk arrays are located in two independent locations connected via two independent 40Gbps routes.
