    Today, we have commissioned a new server room POP3. The room is designed to hold 35 racks with 48U height. Each of the racks can be powered through 2 independent feeds backed up via UPS and a diesel generator. Internet connection is supplied via CISCO 6509-VSS 1440 networking unit through either metallic or fiber optic link. If desired, a direct fiber optic link to the SIX or SITEL nodes can be established.

Housing services

The main focus of LightStorm is providing rackhousing and serverhousing services, while focusing on the best possible ratio of service quality and price. We have three server rooms available for our clients: two of them for rack placement and one for tower servers. All rooms are equipped with renowned brands technology in a redundant connection.

Virtual servers

Server virtualization means running multiple independent servers with their own operating systems on one physical host. Virtualization software provides flexibility to adjust the assigned system resources, allows realtime server monitoring and remote management. Our solution leverages redundant disk arrays, providing data loss protection via daily backups. Our solution is particularly effective in terms of installation costs (as it elliminates the need to invest in a standalone server), operating expenses(virtual sever operation is significantly more cost efficient), as well as logistics and support. Clients are offered six basic packages of predefined configurations and are also able to create their individual builds via our server configurator in the virtual servers section.

Optical routes

The basic characteristic of an optical route is the usage of light for signal transmission. Main advantages of optical fibers compared to metallic or wireless connections are a significantly higher data throughput and greater transmission distance. Fiber optic connections are also unaffected by electromagnetic interference, which ensures maximum reliability. That is why we offer our clients who demand maximum reliability solutions, to take advantage of our complex services, utilizing fiber optic technology.

Wireless connections

An alternative to wired connections(fiber optic or metallic) in locations which are not suitable for them, the ideal solution is the utilization of wireless connections. We offer solutions based on connections within both licensed and free frequencies, according to clients' requirements on the resulting technical solution and price.

System administration

For clients who only want to focus on their main business activity, we offer our expertise in IT systems administration - wheter it's corporate network administration, or server administration.
