Closed cold aisles system implementation in POP2

15.07.2010

In an effort for more ffective client device cooling, we have mnade adjustments in the POP2 server room and we have implemented the closed cold aisles system.

The closed cold aisles system ensures the cold air maintenance in a closed area at the front of the racks and prevents its mixing with the hot air coming out of the servers. This increases the temperature gradient on cooling units, increasing cooling efficiency, saving energy and also the environment.
